Holy Week Schedule 2024

Monday – Wednesday March 25th—27th : Daily Masses will be celebrated at 10.00.

Sacrament of Reconciliation: The Pastoral Area will be hosting it’s Sacrament of Reconciliation  liturgy in St. Finnachta’s Church, Sixmilebridge on Monday 25th at 19.30. You are most welcome to come along to this celebration of God’s infinite love for us expressed in the gift of his forgiveness. As Pope Francis reminds us God never tires of gifting forgiveness.

Fr. Michael will be available to hear confessions before Mass on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning of Holy Week and on Holy Thursday after the Mass of the Lord’s Supper during the time of Adoration .

Holy Thursday: March 28th : There will be no morning Mass on Holy Thursday. Mass of the Lord’s Supper will be at 19.30 in Our Lady of the Rosary Church. Following this Mass there will be Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament in the Day Chapel until 21.30. Fr. Michael will also be available for the Sacrament of Reconciliation during this time of Adoration.

Good Friday: March 29th : Ceremonies of the Passion of Christ will be celebrated at 15.00 in Our Lady of the Rosary Church. The Stations of the Cross will be prayed at 19.30 in Our Lady of the Rosary Church.

Holy Saturday: March 30th : Morning Prayer for Holy Saturday will be prayed at 10.00 in Our Lady of the Rosary Day Chapel. The Easter Vigil Mass will take place in Our Lady of the Rosary Church at 21.00
