Fr. Michael’s final weekend with us will be the 27th/28th July. All in our community are disappointed to lose Fr. Michael and we wish him well in his new appointment. As his stay with us comes to an end we wish to express our heartfelt thanks to him for the tremendous energy and initiative he has shown over the last three years. We particularly acknowledge
his work in our schools and the relationship he developed with all in our parish, particularly the elderly of our community. We are conscious and appreciative of the great support he provided to the sick and bereaved in our parish. We very much regret that he is not getting an opportunity to develop that engagement, notwithstanding we sincerely thank him for the love and commitment that he brought to all his work. We very much realise that our loss will be a gain to his new parishioners and the diocese. As you go Fr. Michael we wish you well and assure you of our continued prayers and affection.
Fr. Michael will celebrate all the Masses on the weekend of July 27th/28th, it will be an opportunity for us to gather in prayer to thank God for what has been and to ask God’s blessing on Fr. Michael and the parish community during this time of transition and change.
Guímid gach rath ar Micheál, togha sláinte, saol fada agus beannacht Dé i gcónaí.
