Supporting Ukrainian Refugees living in our Community

Fáilte Isteach is a group of volunteers offering English language support to refugees from the Ukraine living in our communities who don’t speak English. It has been running in Shannon for some time and now with the arrival of Ukrainian refugees to Bunratty and Newmarket they are in  urgent need of support and volunteers if they are to extend their service beyond Shannon to help those now living in our parish. If you commit as a Failte Isteach volunteer you will be asked to commit to one session per week. A session normally lasts one to two hours or more if you have the availability. You will be joining a wonderful team of volunteers who are doing all they can to help these refugees, our new neighbours, settle into our community by gifting them the language they need engage day to day.
